The Tide Me Over program sends food home over the weekend for kids that qualify for free or reduced lunch at school. The family has to sign up for it. We serve about 90 kids in both Smith Elementary and Heritage Elementary Schools. Stockbridge Community Outreach is responsible for the entire program, but First Baptist Church in Stockbridge has been handling the program at Heritage this year. The requested items in the pdf below are for the 43 kids at Smith for whom Outreach is totally responsible. The funding from the county that has been provided in the past for this program has been cut. So, we are seeking items from the community to continue to provide this service. We would appreciate adherence to the size and brand of product as much as possible as it lets us maintain consistent quality and portions. Any donations can be dropped off at Stockbridge Community Outreach or any of the Farmers State Bank Braches.
